Party Haus Rental Policies
Please review our rental policies before booking. These terms help us protect our inventory and provide every customer with a clean, safe, and beautiful party setup.
1. Standard Rental Booking Policy
Thank you for choosing Party Haus for your celebration. By placing a booking with Party Haus, the customer agrees to the following rental booking terms.
Booking Deposit
A non-refundable booking deposit is required to secure your event date and rental items. Your booking is not confirmed until the deposit has been paid and Party Haus has confirmed availability.
All booking deposits are non-refundable under all circumstances, including cancellation, change of plans, weather, venue changes, illness, or event cancellation. The deposit compensates Party Haus for reserving your date, removing inventory from availability, administrative work, planning, and preparation.
Balance Payment
The remaining balance must be paid by the deadline stated on the invoice or booking confirmation. If the balance is not paid on time, Party Haus may cancel the booking and retain the non-refundable deposit.
Rescheduling
Each booking is permitted one reschedule request only, subject to Party Haus availability.
A reschedule is not guaranteed. The new date must be available, and the same rental items must be available for the requested date. If Party Haus is unavailable on the requested new date, the original booking terms remain in effect and the deposit remains non-refundable.
Reschedule requests must be made in writing as soon as possible. Additional charges may apply if the new date, location, rental items, labour requirements, delivery zone, or setup requirements differ from the original booking.
Cancellations
If the customer cancels a confirmed booking, the booking deposit will not be refunded. Any additional amounts paid may be handled at Party Haus's discretion based on the timing of cancellation, work already completed, rentals reserved, and costs incurred.
Party Haus reserves the right to cancel or refuse a booking where there are safety concerns, unsuitable setup conditions, unpaid balances, inaccessible setup areas, or customer breach of these terms.
Weather and Outdoor Events
For outdoor events, the customer is responsible for providing a safe, clean, dry, and suitable setup area. Party Haus may refuse setup if weather or site conditions create a safety risk or may damage the rental items.
Rain, high winds, wet ground, extreme heat, or unsafe outdoor conditions may require the booking to be moved indoors or rescheduled, subject to availability. Deposits remain non-refundable.
Setup Area Requirements
The customer must ensure the setup area is clean, level, safe, and free from debris, sharp objects, pet waste, food, drinks, mud, water, and hazards. The setup area must be ready before Party Haus arrives.
If the setup location is not suitable or ready at the scheduled time, Party Haus may modify the setup, delay the setup, charge additional fees, or cancel the setup without refund of the deposit.
Use of Rental Items
Rental items are intended for children's party use only and must be used safely and appropriately. Adult use of soft play equipment, climbing pieces, foam blocks, hoppers, ball pits, and bouncy castles is not permitted unless Party Haus has expressly approved otherwise in writing.
Food, drinks, face paint, markers, slime, glitter, confetti, sharp objects, shoes, pets, and rough play are not permitted on or near the rental equipment.
Final Authority
Party Haus reserves the right to make final decisions regarding safe setup, safe use, weather conditions, site suitability, and rental item protection.
2. Damage Deposit Policy
To protect our rental inventory and ensure every customer receives clean, safe, and high-quality party rentals, Party Haus requires a refundable damage deposit for all bookings.
Damage Deposit Amount
A damage deposit equal to 30% of the total booking amount is required for every booking.
The damage deposit is separate from the booking deposit and rental balance unless otherwise stated on the customer's invoice.
When the Damage Deposit Is Due
The damage deposit must be paid by the deadline stated on the invoice or booking confirmation. Party Haus may refuse delivery or setup if the damage deposit has not been paid.
Refund of Damage Deposit
The damage deposit will be refunded after the event once all rental items have been collected and inspected.
Party Haus may deduct from the damage deposit for any loss, damage, excessive cleaning, staining, missing items, unsafe use, or breach of rental rules.
Deductions From Damage Deposit
Deductions may apply for, but are not limited to:
Food, drink, candy, gum, paint, face paint, markers, glitter, slime, mud, water damage, pet damage, punctures, tears, rips, broken items, missing balls, missing equipment, damaged signage, damaged mats, damaged soft play pieces, damaged bounce equipment, or excessive cleaning.
Deductions may also apply if rental items are moved after setup without Party Haus approval, used improperly, left outdoors in unsafe conditions, or returned in a condition beyond normal use.
Damage Exceeding the Deposit
If the cost of repair, replacement, cleaning, or loss exceeds the damage deposit, the customer is responsible for the full additional cost.
Party Haus will provide notice of the damage and the amount owing. Replacement costs may be charged at the current replacement value of the item, including applicable taxes, shipping, labour, or related costs.
Customer Responsibility
The customer is responsible for the rental items from the time Party Haus completes setup until the items are collected by Party Haus. The customer must supervise the rental area and ensure all guests follow the rental rules.
Refund Timing
Damage deposits are typically refunded within 3–7 business days after pickup and inspection, depending on the payment method and processing timelines.
